Music

Hey all, I just randomly felt like writing something about music, I am not going to drabble on about which genre is best or whose the greatest artist but instead just that music rocks.

Most music seems to have emotion and art in it, in this sense most people can appreciate more than one genre even if they don't like it, I myself although a Trance fan appreciate Classical, Jazz, Rock, Hip Hop and a lot of other genres and in fact I like most of those genres as well, when you listen to a song to hear it for its story or to hear it for what it tells you, you are really doing something special and you could be learning about yourself too.

Its amazing how one song can resemble happiness at a time of being okay and sadness when you are sad, don't you love listening to songs that perk you up? Doesn't it amaze you how so many people like different genres and different songs?

I just think music is amazing! Everyone crank their tunes!

Pointless Blobble

Hey everyone welcome to my new blog, this site will be mirroring http://illuzian.livejournal.com with some added extras. I hope everyone enjoys my randomness, possible depth and lack thereof and whatever the hell I write about, stay tuned!

Philosophical Debate

I was at work and was discussing randomly with a friend Descartes Philosophical argument of Cogito Ergo Sum(I am thinking, therefore I exist) and one of my other work colleagues brought up the argument that we cannot take ownership of thoughts and cannot prove they are our own, I did some research and I believe this statement must come from the school of Skepticism, I cannot find the philosopher who developed this theory but it seems like a valid argument, What if my thoughts are shared? What if I am the result of higher beings thought? How can I absolutely know that these thoughts are mine and mine alone?... The answer is cannot know but can assume.

I cannot with all accuracy prove that the thoughts that I am thinking are truly my own but I can assume they are, at the moment of the proposed argument I was a but tripped out, it seemed completely valid, I could think of no counter argument, however, based on perception although logically not fully accurate (not accurate based on the Cogito Ergo Sum theory) I was able to think of a possible argument against the theory, although also based on assumption because it includes variables such as awareness and perception it appears to be more logical and make more sense, it also lacks the element of imagination or speculation.

Here is a copy of the email I just sent to my colleague(who is currently not at work):

Now although you cannot prove that the thoughts that I think are mine you also cannot prove that they are not, the following logic seems to make sense from my view:

The only thoughts that I am aware of are my own, I cannot prove that another being is thinking I only assume that other sentient beings on the same level think because they have similar actions to my own, because the only thoughts that I can be *aware* of are the ones I am thinking them, it must then be assumed they are my thoughts, now because the ability to perceive a higher beings existence is based on assumption from almost no evidence other than my own creativity then again, I must assume that the thoughts I am thinking are my own.

The thoughts that I think can be assumed my own because only I am certain that I am thinking. A 3rd person can be assumed to be thinking because they may behave similar to myself, I am human they are human therefore I assume they think. A higher being cannot be assumed to be thinking because I do not have any logical proof that it exists except by creativity.. it cannot be literally perceived and interpreted, therefore it is not known whether it is thinking or not.

Another point to go further to take ownership of my own thoughts is as follows:

At a moment of experience alone or amongst a group the feelings are dependent on my situation therefore the thought that arises from my perception from my maybe inaccurate senses is still by assumption my own because I assume only I can be in exactly the same situation at that one time, so the variables time, surroundings, feeling, and perception combined together to create situational thought can only be known logically to occur once, the only other way to counter that statement that I can see is that there maybe parallel universes and that my overall thought is subject to a collective of individuals some how linked to me that create the overall thoughts that I have, but again I cannot literally have perception of these alternate beings therefore it cannot be known whether they are thinking.

Now although the theory that my thoughts are not mine and that I cannot take ownership of them because I cannot know that only I am thinking them still stands, from logic and evidence I cannot with reason prove that any other sentient being actual thinks because there is only an assumption of thinking, therefore it comes back to the thoughts that I am thinking are imagining another beings existence.

Thought can be known but cannot be perceived only assumed, therefore only I know that I am thinking, I cannot know that another being is thinking/imagining my existence or having the same thoughts I am simply because I cannot prove the existence of thoughts other than those of my own conscious mind.

Most things are assumed or imagined, the things that can be assumed based on what we define as literal perception appear to have more validity.

Therefore the validity of Cogito Ergo Sum should still be valid based on the above argument.

Now I am sure there are some elements of my theory that could be argued but its pretty much the only argument I could think of, If anyone thinks it lacks critical components or even knows the philosopher who made the theory my colleague brought up post a comment!

My Thoughts in a Moment of Pain

It’s the most incomprehensible pain I have ever felt, the hardest thing that I have ever dealt with, she gave me her answer and that was it, it was the first time I have ever truly felt whole in my ability to be truly selfless to someone.

I feel like crying but I can’t because if I explain to anyone they truly won’t understand.

At the moment in time I just wanted to hate her but I couldn’t, I just wanted her to be happy and at that moment my heart felt completely crushed but I knew she made the right decision, at least I hope she did.

I can’t fully comprehend this, I am utterly confused and right at this moment the only retreat I have is this blog.

I don’t know why but I felt so connected with her but I knew truly how distant she felt away from me.

I felt like just becoming mad and saying things cruel along the general lines of expecting too much from life but I knew it was never that simple and saying that would of just aggravated any chance she had of working through any faults she thought she might have.

I don’t feel like moving right now, I can barely breath, why do people form something great and then loose it because of something so trivial? I cannot answer this question.

Its totally and utterly crazy but it was like the minute I knew she was going to give me the answer I felt like crying, I knew it already.

I had the unhealthy emotions raging inside me, wanting to just die, wanting to be spiteful but on the other hand I had the compassion, the reasoning, the true love inside of me, and as crazy as it is writing this, which at this very moment in time with tears in my eyes, the only thing keeping me together is this feeling of love that feels so much stronger than anything material, obsessive….

I feel like I have come to a milestone in my life, I know I shouldn’t wear my heart on my sleeve, Its so hard not to because I just crave the giving of love so much, and I think I have realised that I can finally be who I want to be in a relationship as long as it’s the right person… if I ever find the right person.

Is it Karma, am I meant to find the right person? Maybe I caused someone so much heartbreak once in this lifetime or another lifetime that I have to suffer this fate.. but is it suffering or learning, I really need to reflect again.

I need to find a worthwhile purpose in life and with my pursuit of finding that one person its not going to happen, I need to just live my life, I’m thinking about taking a course to be a counsellor, I want to impact on others lives instead of living a materialistic egocentric goal, its not fulfilling to live a life of money or things or even looks as in the end it just comes down to death, we all die, and what if, I die at 30 but became a counsellor and prevented even just a few youth suicides, gave someone the hope they needed and the wisdom they needed to see life isn’t as bad as it seems, I myself have been there, in one sense I feel so hopeless and so meaningless but in another sense I know that I have learnt so much, come so far in such a short period of time and I have so much potential to care for others instead of just myself.

I’m sure if that right person, like this girl I met, someone who may of come as far as me when I meet her and accepts me for me might come along but then again is it truly important to meet this person.

How beautiful would it be to meet someone and want to change the world and make it more compassionite more liveable?
But do I need it? No
Do I crave it? Yes

It feels so impossible but what do I have? The knowledge to know I can go somewhere.

I’m sure I wont be me again for a while, I take much time to heal but that’s who I am.

These things I know for sure:
I hope she finds happiness and purpose
I hope that I find purpose and meaning
I need to cleanse these unhealthy painful emotions and become me once again.

I’m a wreck but I will cope, I left the door open to her, I told her what I thought was the best advice, I told her to be happy, and I don’t feel spiteful, I know I couldn’t talk to her normally at this moment in time as just a friend, maybe if I pass this her and I can one day be friends but for now she is out of my life and things are as they were before I met her, I’m glad I met her, she was an awesome person but it obviously wasn’t right in her mind.

I am utterly confused but lets hope the right views I held in this absolute expression of the thoughts in my head right now overpower any wrong views in this expression.

I hope though that most of my thoughts are right view, I am confident that they are but I’m sure in time they will make sense.

Reflection

I haven’t posted on this blog for a long time as many of you may know, I’m not sure if any of my old readers from various places still check on the blog from time to doubt and I doubt it but here I will be posting my views, beliefs and perceptions from the world.

The first thing that has got me back into a post is love, its my trigger, it’s the thing that cuts deep into me no matter how strong it is, it always leaves me wandering how I got myself into the situation in the first place, internet dating? Wearing my heart on my sleeve? Getting attached too quickly? I honestly don’t know and even after long periods of meditation I can’t figure out why certain situations lead to so much suffering for me.

I know these things are certain, I do ultimately put myself in a position with the potential to get hurt, I do trust society too much to perceive certain people as being able to ignore the superficiality of the world, but the sad fact is, is that too many people in the world are conditioned with superficial views, they may not be aware of these things and it can take a very motivated and reflective person to be able to reflect on themselves and see the root cause of this problem and rout it out, but of course this is only my point of view.

For those of you who would like to work towards being more content with your life try listening to http://www.bswa.org/modules/mydownloads/visit.php?cid=4&lid=131 and see if it works for you, I myself have much trouble being content with live because like everyone I am not perfect, I want more meaning in life, I want so much more purpose but yet it can be so hard to find sometimes.

Without going into specifics I will go into detail about what has happened recently that has caused me to reflect on myself, you see I tend to always try to find some way of improving my life when things go wrong.

I met a girl, of course since my last post I have met many girls, and I just haven’t been able to relate to them in the same way I could this girl. This girl, I spoke with her on the phone many times for hours on end and I hadn’t met her, we could hold a conversation about things which you couldn’t usually develop a discussion out of in the everyday conversation. Things about life, love etc, it also seemed we had so much in common, this awesome girl couldn’t wait to meet me and it built up, we met, and that was it, I still felt the same way about her as I first did but she didn’t feel the same about me, of course this should have been expected, the one quam I have with myself is that I let myself get to emotionally and mentally attached, I thought hey this could work, as it turned out there were some views that even this great girl might not of known she held and that I still don’t know what they were that caused her to not be so *into* me anymore, I’m not going to make any kind of example of her but you can see from this wonderful but painful example, ultimately wearing your heart on your sleeve causes suffering.

On a personal note, I feel lost because this is the first time I have met someone who is so much alike me mentally and even some what spiritually that I was able to relate to on this level, it truly is hard sometimes when these things happen and pass us by but life is difficult and we have to find the good in what happens to us no matter hard it is, life is a learning experience.

Let’s reiterate on something important from the path of Buddhism, the four noble truths:

1. Life means suffering.
2. The origin of suffering is attachment
3. The cessation of suffering is attainable.
4. The path to the cessation of suffering.

You see this is great, it’s so blunt and in my eyes so true, my only problem is I don’t want to be totally detached from the world, I want a partner, I want to find a profession that helps people, this is my problem and I just can’t seem to find a way to work myself around it.

At this very moment in time I’m utterly confused, I don’t know what I want, what I want to do, I need to get out and enjoy life more.

As some of you may or may not know I’m and IT guy, I’ve always been into the challenge of learning things new and IT has seemed to be that profession, programming to be specific, but lets look at what’s wrong with that view, doing IT, doing something because its what I want doesn’t really achieve anything on a greater scale its just me isn’t it. Now as selfish as this my sound *I* would be a lot happier doing things that directly impacted and improved other peoples lives, not just mine.

Right now my stresses are many, I don’t altogether enjoy my job, I have loans which I just want to pay off, I’m not getting enough exercise because I never have enough energy thanks to my work, I’m giving up smoking which is hard but I’m getting there and of course the ordeal that has recently occurred that I have partly focused on here.

I don’t really know what more to say because I’m tired as all Hell but I would like to leave you with a few things to reflect on:

Are you unhappy where you are now?
Is your job causing you too much stress?
Is there any place you would like to take your life?
Are you having difficulties relating to people?
Is there something I don’t like about myself?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions ask yourself how to I reverse that or how to achieve what I want to achieve, its really easy if you think clear headed and make sure the motivation behind your goal is pure.

Also for those spiritual nuts out there reflect on how fulfilling the following may be:
1. I vow to rescue the boundless living beings from suffering;
2. I vow to put an end to the infinite afflictions of living beings;

For those love nuts out there curse by what may be Karma from the times we have broken others hearts as hard as this may be reflect on:

Do we need a partner in our life to be fulfilled?
Is the Pain worth it?
What are our alternatives?
(For me the answers are yes, yes, I will cover this if I ever get hurt so much the first two answers change)

Anyway that is me for this post on reflection, I hope it wasn’t to muddled as you may of notices I’m feeling quite reflective myself as well as confused and slightly lost, even empty.

The Futile Love

Love is like a treasure without a map, its impossible to find.

No matter where you look the chances of finding *true* love are extremely limited especially in todays society. I have covered countless times what I beleive true love is, but how many other people out there hold what you as an individual think is true love, even to a simular degree.

Love is futiles, it simply places a reliance on another individual which in turn creates hurt and let down. If someone has truly found love then I congratulate you but for the majority out there looking the possibility of *true hurt* and *true anguish* is more so a possibility then *true love*.

Shall we give up? Its not in our nature but our nature as emotional and loving as it may be always seems to guide us down the path to pain instead of love.

Its a reality that stings.
Its a reality that hurts.
Its a reality that can only be taken away in dreams.
Fly on the wings of love, if only in your dreams.
Love is the missing link.

What People Say

Its a reality that just doesn't seem to be easily accepted. The fact is, people are unreliable. Regardless of what your impression of anybody may be, nobody will ever be 100% reliable if even 1%.

People say they will do this or that but why? Do you think honestly anybody really does anything for other people these days? I think not.

In todays society where people have been brought up the way they have a selfish attitude is always around the corner.

Where am I really going with this topic? Essentially I just want to advise everyone that pinning hopes on another individual or even a group of individuals is futile. In all reality the only person you can rely on is yourself but, have you ever found yourself feeling regret etc? This is essentialy you letting yourself, so if you as an individual let yourself down sometimes how is it ever possible to have faith in any external entity.

Its the painful truth, that is all it is.

Be weary people for the real world is truly a painful place to live, live for yourself as living for others hurts to much.

Failure of Life

Life is to live,
Love is to give,
Pain will hurt,
Hurt will pass,
The passing will hurt,
The hurting will kill,
The death is the way to end the suffering,
We want forgiveness,
We want happiness,
We fail at perfection,
We fail at giving,
We fail ourselves,
We have failed life...

Something a Little More Wild

Yes thats it folks I have cracked, I have decided to talk about sex. Now as I have said in previous posts I think sex has been abused and made into some ridiculous game where people will just go out and have sex with whoever they please, mostly males who end up hurting women but of course women do it too.

I think sex is act best left for when you love someone, sex can be wild and fun but of course its at its peak when you actually care for who you are with. I think in the modern world it is important to be a little wild and experiment. Now in my opinion its the guy who should be pleasing the girl, guys have hands and they rarely do much anyway so they can do themselves instead, and it doesn't talk much to finish a guy off.

As I have said previously it is important to have good communication in a relationship and for a great sex life, being able to talk about these kinds of issues is important too. If you want your partner to do something to you talk to them about it. If you want to do something to your partner and you are not sure if they would like it talk to them and ask them, you never know.

Live on the wild side too, sexual fantasies don't have to just be fantasies, of course they should be nice fantasies but with good communication talk to your partner about your fantasies and see if they are willing to make an exchange, your fantasy for one of theirs, fantasies carried out together can be very intimate and can mean a lot between couples.

I think in conclusion, it is a good idea to experiment during sex and have a good time, moans and screams can be very fun. Only ever have sex with someone you love and make it a goal to learn that persons body.

May you all have wild, fun and intimate times with those you love :P

The Love I Feel

She makes me happy just thinking of her
She makes me smile just to be talking to her
The love we feel is so amazing
The future we hold is so promising
My biggest fear is so sickening
I can feel the sadness thickening
Why do we hold these insecurities
Why do we make these fears
All I know is I love her
And I know in my hear she loves me
For it is so easy to love and so easy to fear
All I know is I can feel her near
Near my heart near my soul
It is like destiny
I want to be with her for eternity
May I be at ease
Knowing we will be together forever

Love.. Amazing

Have you ever loved someone so much, but not been by their side? Have you ever worried about someone and not been able to hug them when they come home? Have you ever care so much it hurts you? I Am so happy right now, I found someone special, But she lives a little distantance away, I just want to be there with her.

I live my illusion, one moment at a time
I live for love every moment in time
I want happiness like every one of you do
I want nobody but my special somebody
That special somebody fills all my desires and dreams
Let me be with that somebody for that is all I want
All I live for is love, And this feels like a dream

Love In a Modern World

Love is quite amazing, the feeling of love, the power of love and the way we react to love is all quite amazing. I think It is one of the most beautiful experiences one can have. This leads me to discuss in depth my thoughts on love itself.

I think love to me at least is caring for someone, making that person you care about happy and doing everything in your power to satisfy them and their needs, I think the feeling itself is also relevant but that really is indescribable, I can only advise those who would like to have an example will need to feel It first.

When one is in a relationship I think it should be essential to commit and also to be as selfless as possible, of course it isn’t possible to be perfect but on the same note one should strive to be perfect for that person, of course this should not involve changing who you are, but of course if you are completely selfless it could result in that.

In regards to selflessness, I think it is also essential to develop a good trust with your partner, some people have a hard time trusting but one must question this, if one does not trust this is very unhealthy. Think of it in a “Trust until proven otherwise”. Question your thinking, has the person ever broken your trust? If not there is really no need to worry.

I think like in every day life one should also watch their actions when they are in a relationship, when one becomes jealous, question the jealousy and see if you honestly have reason to be jealous, if you feel yourself getting upset or angry restrain yourself and ask yourself why this emotion has arisen.

I also think that good communication is very essential in all forms of love, you must talk to the person you are in a relationship with and be completely open to discuss anything, you must be diplomatic, do not react too much when you discuss topics you may not both agree on, be sure to allow your partner to have free will as well. This leads me to forgiveness and how important this can be.

When one is in a relationship it is important to consider that no one person is perfect, everyone makes mistakes, I am sure trust can be broken but it is also important to forgive your partner if you have a flourishing relationship but obviously when too much has been done to you then it is obviously important for you to consider leaving such a relationship.

I once heard a monk say if you want commitment marry a swan.. I think that can be very true, but what may seem like a good idea for all is to act like a swan, care take your partner, see them as equals and think of your actions and really question your emotions. I think commitment and openness is also truly essential.

Now I would like to discuss the things I think ruin relationships, I think it is also a good idea to be aware of the things that can damage a good relationship so as to prevent these things from occurring.

Now the main things I think ruin relationships are a lack of communication, selfishness, lack of control, lack of trust, too much stress and intensity, not balancing your life together, trying to change or control the other person

In regards to communication, I did address this earlier and as stated it is good to be open and communicate with your partner, if this does not occur it can result in a lack of trust or just a lack of interest also.

As I stated earlier selflessness is beneficial to a relationship, when one becomes selfish they forming expectations, when these are not satisfied one will get upset or disappointed, also a lack of trust can also occur when expectations are created, for example expecting your partner to spend time with you but they go off with a friend. I think it is essential to be as selfless as possible. Also the selflessness plays a part of being self controlled.

Self control is important, one must be able to restrain from overreact in a negative way, failure to do this usually results in your partner not being able to cope or being scare of you, this is not something that is of any benefit to oneself, also it is a hard error to mend.

The issue of trust I have addressed in this text many times before, a lack of trust can result in arguments, it can result in paranoia and also create many other negativities. Let go of your self question and be free to trust, for you will find it hard to establish firm ground in any relationship.

Stress is one thing that many people find hard to deal with, I think balancing a relationship is important in stress control. When you are with someone you need to be able to spend a decent amount of time with someone without smothering them, Spending little time together can result in a communication breakdown and spending too much time together can result in boredom, and of course conflict. When one enters a relationship it is important to pursue that which interests you outside of the relationship and maintain ones friendships, of course it is also important to do things together. Maintaining a balance in a relationship helps keep stress levels at a minimum.

I think accepting the person you are with is also important, nobody is perfect, if you have conflicting interests do not try to sway your partner or change your partner to like something they don’t want to like. If you are completely accepting of the person you love this will make your relationship that much easier.

In conclusion I honestly think that love is a wonderful thing but it seems people are loosing interest in each other and pursuing the wrong things, I think if we try to follow these simple ideas and be aware of ourselves we will live much happier and our relationships will be so much more rewarding.

May you all find true love and happiness

Selfishness and the World

Recently I was thinking about a few things, selfishness and love, obviously in this post I will be discussing Selfishness.

I think the problem we have in the modern world is people really don’t consider other people anymore, I find this to be the cause of war, the cause of suffering and the cause of pain in most circumstances. I also think this same reason is one of the primary reasons for relationship breakdown with partners and also friends.

I think in the essence of things people do things for themselves, even doing things for others is generally for your own benefit. I think though that doing something for someone else is and feeling good about it is better then doing something solely for oneself, this does benefit yourself but obviously is doing much good at the same time.

I think it is wise to consider your actions on a whole when committing to them, if a friend wants to go out, go out with them and make them happy, don’t make people do what you want them to. In a relationship try to be completely selfless, aspire to make that special person happy.

Of course on the same token I would like to say that being completely selfless to the point where it makes you sick is not good, you need to take care of yourself, if you do not then you will not be able to perform your normal tasks to benefit others.. sometimes looking after yourself is of more benefit. Also think of the people that care for you, they may worry about you if you wear yourself down.

In conclusion I think that people need to consider the people that will be impacted through their actions, whether this be their friends, the next generation or their loved ones.

May you all be happy.

How to React to Difficult People

In life you will come accross many difficul and unsettleing people. They will try to get you worked up and try to bring you down and make you unhappy just as they are. I am about address how I think is the best way to deal with this people.

When a person challenges you in a way that is hostile, walk away and back out, if you are called a name, walk away. The best thing to do is give the attacker victory, this causes them no harm and makes them think about what they have done.

It is almost automatic to react to challenges. We must clear the mind and work on dealing with this people in a positive way. If we do react to them negatively we are ultimately causing them me pain as well as you more pain.

As hard as it sounds there are more benefits in reacting postively to someone then negatively. Give it a go my friends, let your egos drop for a day and see how it feels. This practice will also help you be more tolerant to your friends on, you will be able to deal with them more if they have a bad day. It will also help you be more tolerant to new people you meet.

May you all be peaceful.

Fault Finders

I have just been reading and pondering on that of people who pick anothers faults and mistakes. It is not a kind or wise thing to do. Everybody makes mistakes in their life. The intention of one person may be that to help but people tend to pick the negatives in a person.

People are never perfect. I certainly am not and I invite you now to come forward with my faults, this is an invitation. I am giving this invitation for those who do come forward with my faults will not reap the bad karma of that action.

Don't look for faults in anyone, nobody should tell anybody or discuss anybodies faults, for would you like somebody to tell you all the mistakes you have ever made unintentionally? It is not your place to judge anybody for the only time that someone should look for faults is that when they Question themselves.

You are certainly not perfect and based on this you are not in the position to tell anybody they are not either. But on the other hand if someone tells you of your errors I urge you to treat it as a lesson, not a negative thing.

Please my good friends, accept people as they are. The only way someone will ever fix their faults is if they want help, if you ask for help without truly wanting to help yourself expect to hear some truths that may hurt.

May you all find peace within yourselves.

How to be Happy

The following post is not to be taken lightly. I must advise all content written is that of a view I hold, it may not work for you and you may also disagree to some of my views. The following I have discovered through my life which I still have much to live. I hope it does help some of you to be happy.

Happiness is sometimes something hard to obtain, now it goes without saying you don't get something for nothing. Happiness isn't something that you just let in or that just comes. In essence you make you happy, you are the only person with this power.

You may say a certain sound is annoying you but this is simply because you are letting it, if you can let the sound in and just let it pass through you as hard as it may sound you will become much calmer. Now the best way I have discovered to calm the mind is meditation and chanting, many things can be relaxing, and by relaxing I mean relaxing not lazing. Work, Meditation, Writing. Many things can calm the mind down. I believe it is essential to have a calm mind to stay happy.

Somebody annoys you? Is it this persons fault they annoy you? NO!! now if this person annoys you whether they are doing it on purpose or not, it will upset your mental state.. but it is because you are not in a decent mental state that they annoy you. You can accept things and just live without making everything seem hostile.

Unfortunately controlling the mind to be happy is not an easy task and it really does need you to start looking at yourself a lot more. When you get annoyed or upset step back and ask yourself how this is happening, then ask yourself how you can fix it, now I don't mean go and smack the person who is making you annoyed in the nose so they shut up, I mean an internal fix, take some deep breaths and focus your mind on positive thoughts.

A good way to be happy is to just be positive, also if you do things for others it is very fulfilling and it has always been said what you give out you get back(Karma).

Do not resort to external things for your happiness. Why do certain people make you happy? Because you let them, not because they are special. Why is it that one of your friends is made happy by you and they make you happy, but that friends friend makes your friend happy but not you? Because you make let them annoy you, its that simple.

Now it has been tested(As from "The Art Of Happiness") that if you Said to yourself, I wish I was [X] everyday then you will be unhappy, but if you said I'm glad I'm not [x] then you will appreciate life more. Be more accepting of life and don't take things for granted as much. Many people are born with disabilities, what about third world countries and countries at war? You really have the life of luxury! Be grateful for the life you live.

Mind is over matter, so if you can say to yourself I will be happy, I will accept this person, then you will, the mind is the big tool for your happiness!

Never expect anything from anybody or anywhere, this will lead to your own demise. You can only rely on yourself for happiness and this is fact. Love yourself, meet yourself, look at yourself.. this is the only way.

If somebody gets angry at you or bullies you, let them win, it may make you upset but it is better than getting angry and gaining the bad Karma from this situation, if you let someone win you will gain back good Karma (this is very hard even I find this hard to do).

I think for now this is all I can say about Happiness, I may be back with more.

I hope this was insightful for some of you and may you all be happy!

Life Is Ever Changing

Nothing in life ever stays the same. You can rarely trust anybody, you can rarely expect anything back from anybody without getting hurt. This is a painful fact of life.

The title probably could be and very much is impermanence. Your mind is ever changing you will never be the same person ever, the things you see and have lived, the new decisions that you make every second change you the atoms and the blood in your body is always different every moment.

Now when it comes to relating to people be cautions, for they change themselves all the times, this may be to their own demise but if you have created some attachment to them then you will end up severely hurt. I have found this in my life, my heart was once torn in two after a person I cared for changed.

The only person you can only really trust is yourself! you know who you are, or at least you can discover yourself with a little effort and some green tea(really it helps :-P), you can see who you truly are.

Like a rivers molecules are ever chaning so are the people around you. One day you may be their best friends for whatever reason, the next you may do something with good intention and end up their worst enemy. Be cautions of how you associate with people.

Every action you perform, this affects your changes to yourself and those of the people around you, be cautious of the changes in the river of life you make with your actions.

Creating attachment and relationships with other beings is almost unavoidable in life, now there is, in essence no problem with this. But it is the extent to which you create the relationship and of course the intensity, this person may die suddenly, how do you feel? As harsh as it sounds this is a possibility. You must understand things in life, and understand your ever changing self to really be able to accept the hardest outcomes in life.

Be a mirror unto yourself, whenever you change clothes you can see wether you like them or not... see your changes in yourself, ask yourself are they good or bad and make the correct amendments! You will never be perfect, but the most perfect person is that whom can see and fix his own problems.

Do not try and fix others problems, for with your imperfections you are certainly not qualified, accept the everchanging state of life, and the imperfections in life, for it is the imperfections in life that make it interesting and challenging.

Don't drown in the river of life friends, flow with it for resistance, a desire to stay were you are will only make you sink. Float and follow the flow, this is the path to the ocean of happiness!

May you all Be Happy

Sex.. NO ITS NOT PORN

Hello my friends, I am just writing to discuss sex. Now I feel that today in society that Sex has become very abused. Now of course sex should be fun and when you are in the right circumstances anything can happen with the right person, but I feel that the way it is exploited with no self respect or respect for others is a bug poblem.

Now to me Sex honestly is something you only do with a person you care for. You use it to express how you love the person or even to just have a jolly good time with them.. but I feel that it essentially should only be done with those you care for.

Now in society today we have many people sleeping around and just being irresponsible. I think it is sad to an extent but in essence it is also just something material that you may end up regreting too. There are so many STDs going around and too many nasty little things. This of course isnt the only reason not to stop and not the most important but as you have been told numerous times it is a good reason to be careful.

Now I used to hold the view that sex is only for baby making... I threw that away because I think it is such a beautiful act. The intensity between two people during passionate sex is marvelous. The relationship that develops during fun sex is very strong also. But I do beleive when this act is commited you are releasing a part of yourself to this person.

All I can say is be careful of that which you do for it could lead to yourself, really look at this act of love and try and apply it in the right way with the right person.

May you all be at peace.

The God Syndrome

You may be wandering what I mean by the title. Simply what I am about to address is the human strive and crave for power and the desire to be number one as well as the ego.

Now honestly I do not know what creates a person who wants to have all the power, personally I think it is best to be simple and happy then powerful and well.. not so happy.

People desire power for acceptance, to be best, to be spiteful maybe even vengeful. Now of course in some situations you need somebody to be designated the controller over a certain element, such as the workplace with your boss and the like.

Have you ever had somebody stand over you, this person thinks they are more superior or better than you? Well never fear, don't get upset by this. Generally the people who do this are not happy.

I think it is part of someones search for happiness that develops the God Syndrome. People who fail happiness or resort to materialism at an early age may want general power as an attempt to fix their unhappiness. With power comes money also and with money comes more material possesions.. and of course more desire and pain.

Now generally people are not aware that materialism creates suffering, people keep indulging knowing only that short term good. Its like having some chocolate or a good tasting junk food, there are good results at that time and you generally only see the good until you are educated about the bad effects.

These people may never find happiness for they have created their own self suffering, their own pain and loop. The only thing we can do is be kind to them and attempt to teach them through example and interaction.

Competition can be good in life but there is always bred someone who wants to be number one, and of course being number one can start the God Syndrome off as well. Competition is aimed to be friendly these days but it truly never will be. The systems we use Gold, Silver Bronze, it always make you strive to be the best. If you beleive you are good and get 4th then you get hurt.

I honestly have nothing that I can say that you can use to apply this information to your life except maybe try yo be aware of yourself developing this and also be understanding of people with this suffering.

May you all be happy and live in peace.
